Our educational efforts aim to inspire stewardship while demonstrating that preservation is both achievable and beneficial for our community's future.
ADVOCACY
We actively bring awareness to decisions, developments, and policies that may impact Maury County’s historic resources, while advocating for solutions that honor both progress and preservation.
Through community engagement and fundraising, we ensure that preservation has a voice in the conversations shaping our county’s growth.
Initiatives such as Maury Memorables, a curated list of historically or architecturally significant places or properties at risk, help ensure these meaningful pieces of our shared heritage are recognized, remembered, and protected before they are lost.
PROTECTION
By supporting property and land owners in navigating preservation options, we help secure lasting, long-term protection of Maury County's heritage and built environment.
We accomplish this through a combination of education, advocacy, preservation easements and assistance with National Register of Historic Places nominations.
By helping our community and property owners protect what matters most, we ensure the stories, the craftsmanship and the character-defining features that represent Maury County's past will endure for future generations.
